The Children of the Isle: Blood Lines
Sample - From its feathers poured waves of blood that mimicked the scale of a tidal wave. The tsunami of death that flowed towards us on the vapour suspended me in fear within the body that used to be mine. I could tell she was frozen too but it was rage that held her body dumb as the hazy red wave enveloped us. We could see that bodies and human parts made up the movement of the swells, there was no visual description of water in the prophecy; it was a tsunami of bodies and blood alone. From above the eagles head a fury of purple winds fed the waves of terror as they dived and moved with intention, striking out towards us like witches on their brooms...

Sample - A Strangely Beautiful Crash
A strangely beautiful crash,
Marked feathers outlines found,
Impact on glass, traces in ash,
But no fowl corpse was aground.
Error in navigation and flight,
Printed a comical type splat,
No graceful form was alight,
Nor dragonfly, angel or bat.
The clutz, a pigeon it seems,
......
